Israeli media call for ending 'draining' Khan Younis battles
A military affairs analyst on the Israeli Channel 13 says Israeli soldiers in three Israeli military brigades are exhausted as a result of hostilities in Khan Younis.
A military affairs analyst on the Israeli Channel 13 has called on the leaders of the Israeli occupation entity to end hostilities in the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis, which are draining Israeli occupation troops in vain.
Alon Ben David pointed out that the Israeli occupation military's Givati and the 7th Armored Brigades, as well as the special forces, are exhausted as a result of the tough battles with the Palestinian Resistance in Khan Younis, adding that the Israeli forces are engaging fiercely in a static battle without yielding any progress.
He stressed that Israeli soldiers in these three brigades are very tired, having not seen their homes for a long time, as they were called twice during the war.
The Israeli analyst suggested that it was about time the Israeli leadership ended the battles in Khan Younis, adding that Hamas chief in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, whom "Israel" has been endlessly trying to pursue "will wait and will not go anywhere."
On her part, Merav Lapidot, the former spokesperson for the Israeli Police, considered the frequent appearances of Israeli officials in press conferences to claim that Hamas is deterred and issue more threats against the movement as evidence that they have not drawn any lessons from the October 7.
This comes as the Palestinian Resistance factions continue, for the 154th day in a row, to confront the advancement of Israeli occupation forces across several areas in the besieged Gaza Strip through top-tier operations against the raiding troops, especially in the axis of the city of Hamad, northwest of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip.
Earlier, al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that its Resistance fighters ambushed an Israeli infantry force of six soldiers inside a residential building, engaged with them, and eliminated all of them from point blank in Hamad city.
Similarly, al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian al-Mujahideen movement, confirmed that its fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with Israeli military vehicles and soldiers advancing into Hamad city, using various weapons.
On Thursday, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced that its fighters targeted three Israeli military vehicles using Tandem and RPG shells in Hamad city.
The Brigades added that its fighters ambushed occupation forces in the same area, detonating a booby-trapped building where the raiding forces were holed up, which resulted in casualties among the Israeli soldiers.
In the same context, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades targeted an assembly of Israeli occupation soldiers and their vehicles with 60mm mortar shells in the axis of the city of Hamad.
On its part, the National Resistance Brigades - Martyr Omar al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), confirmed that its fighters detonated a powerful explosive device in one Israeli vehicle at the same axis.
Al-Qassam Brigades also announced that an Israeli force of more than 20 soldiers fell Wednesday into a well-planned ambush planned by its Resistance fighters.
Al-Qassam said its fighters detonated anti-personnel explosive devices against the raiding Israeli soldiers in an apartment in Hamad city, inflicting casualties among the force.
