Israeli media commented on the statements of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in his interview with Al-Alam TV.
Israeli media commented on Hezbollah's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah's interview with the Al-Alam channel on Tuesday, saying that "very important things Nasrallah said this evening, foremost of which is the issue of Hezbollah's air defense systems."
The Arab affairs correspondent for Kan channel recalled the Israeli attack that took place in August 2019 in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
He added that since the attack, Sayyed Nasrallah has threatened that the organization will bring down every drone that will enter Lebanese territory, while several media outlets have been reported that the organization has tried to shoot it down.
The reporter pointed out that in his interview, Sayyed Nasrallah said that activating the air defense systems has yielded excellent results, as the number of Israeli drones' sorties into Lebanon has lessened.
He continued that Nasrallah made it clear that, in the Bekaa, a drone flies every month or two. He also said that the drones that penetrate into the south and the suburbs have changed their course as a "result of changing the policy of the rules of the game," as Nasrallah put it.
He stressed that Sayyed Nasrallah "raised very important issues and touched upon the possibility of Israel and the US attacking Iran, considering that he does not find much possibility of that, given that Israel fears that, while for the US, the matter is not of utmost priority."
The Israeli Channel 20 website also mentioned Sayyed Nasrallah's speech, quoting him as saying that "the liberty of Israel's air operation over Lebanon has been canceled."
In turn, the Israeli Channel 13 website reported that the Secretary-General of Hezbollah gave an interview to the Iranian Al-Alam channel and said: "We do not want war, but we are not afraid of it."
The Israeli website added that Sayyed Nasrallah announced that "the organization's air defense has reduced Israeli activity in Lebanon," and mentioned the nuclear agreement, saying "a war with Iran goes against American interests," according to the Israeli media.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said today that "The resistance's air defense has been very effective since its activation two years ago," he added, stressing that the resistance sees it is vital to possess any arms that would enable it to defend Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
