Israeli media: 18 buses mysteriously burned down in Safad
The Israeli media reports that 18 buses burned at a central station in the city of Safad without clarifying the causes of the fire.
Israeli media reported Friday the outbreak of fire in 18 buses at a central station in the city of Safad in Al-Jalil, northern occupied Palestine.
Media outlets reported that firefighters put out the fire with no reported injuries, without any further detail on the incident.
Some outlets pointed out that the occupation suspected that the fire was premeditated and that the reasons were under examination, while the Safad Municipality stated that "the matter is related to a criminal act."
The Israel Broadcasting Corporation stated that on early Saturday morning, at 3:23 am, "the emergency hotline received a call regarding the fire at the central station in Safad... Firefighters identified 18 buses that were completely on fire."
Israeli media reported that in the past two weeks, two buses belonging to a private transportation company in Safad were set on fire, and days later, eight buses belonging to the Qiryat Shemona Passengers Company, the largest bus company in the Upper Al-Jalil, were set on fire.
