The Israeli media claimed that three were injured, one of them critically wounded, and that "the [occupation's] army" is on its way to the location of the incident.
Israeli Kan TV channel said that a speeding vehicle fired at a number of settlers in another vehicle, near the settlement, which resulted in the injury of 3 of them, one of whom was critically wounded (he later died), while the others were slightly injured.
The channel indicated that a large number of Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank are conducting searches.
The occupation authorities had evacuated the Homesh settlement, which was built on the lands of the towns of Barqa and Silat al-Dhahr, in 2005, but settlers still frequent it from time to time.
