The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - resumes its operations on the northern front with the Israeli occupation, in support of the people of Palestine and their valiant Resistance, and in defense of the steadfast people, villages, and towns in the Lebanese South.

On August 2, Hezbollah carried out six operations across the Lebanese-Palestinian border, which came as follows:

Operations Overview

1. Hezbollah's Air Defense Unit launched anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli warplanes inside Lebanese airspace in the southern region on Thursday night, forcing them to retreat and withdraw beyond the Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine.

2. At 1:05 p.m., the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the deployment of Israeli occupation soldiers at the al-Dhayra military site with artillery shells and directly hit the target.

4. At 2:40 p.m., the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Bayad Blida military site with artillery shells and directly hit the target.

5. At 3:00 p.m., the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the al-Marj military site with rocket weapons and directly hit the target.

6. At 6:45 p.m., the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the espionage equipment at the al-Raheb military site with appropriate weapons and directly hit the target.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the South of Lebanon had also confirmed that Hezbollah launched direct fire at al-Jalil.

In turn, the Israeli occupation continued violating Lebanese airspace and raided towns along the Lebanese-Syrian border, as reported by our correspondent.

This comes after an Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of the village of Chamaa in southern Lebanon has killed 4 people and injured several others, a Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Thursday.

The ministry added that 5 Lebanese citizens were injured also as a result of the strike.
