Two tanks and two military vehicles also advanced into Rasm al-Halabi in central Quneitra countryside, where they stationed at the village entrance. No arrests were reported at the time of reporting.
Later in the day, Israeli forces withdrew from the vicinity of Jubata al-Khashab in northern Quneitra after setting up a temporary checkpoint near the Kassarat road. Residents were stopped for nearly two hours, subjected to questioning and surveys, before being allowed to proceed.
In a separate development, teams affiliated with United Nations forces carried out a controlled detonation of buried munitions in Tal Ahmar, located between Jubata al-Khashab and Ain al-Nouriya in the northern Quneitra countryside.
October: IOF carry out 40 incursions in southern Syria
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the southern region of Syria witnessed a sharp rise in Israeli escalation during October 2025.
