Israeli Occupation Bombs Resistance Sites in Gaza, Resistance Responds
Israeli warplanes launch airstrikes on Palestinian resistance sites in Gaza Strip, as warning sirens sounded in the surrounding settlements.
Israeli warplanes launched, at dawn today, Monday, airstrikes on sites of the Palestinian factions in the north, center, and south of the Gaza Strip.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza reported that a loud explosion was heard in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, adding that the resistance fired its heavy weapons towards the occupation planes in the sky.
The occupation warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the resistance sites as they bombed the Al Thakanah site east of Rafah with a high-explosive missile.
In the same context, an Israeli drone bombed a resistance site west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, one of the airstrikes caused a power outage in the Rafah area.
Our correspondent reported that warning sirens sounded in the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip, noting that the occupation's warships opened fire towards the Askalan site northwest of Beit Lahia.
From its side, Israeli media quoted the occupation army as saying that the Iron Dome intercepted a missile fired from the Gaza Strip.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent expressed that the Israeli narrative of the missiles fired from Gaza Strip is contradictory in the media.
It is noteworthy that warning sirens sounded in the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip, yesterday evening, as Israeli media reported that the Iron Dome intercepted a missile fired from the Gaza Strip, mentioning that warning sirens sounded in "Sderot."
In addition, the Israeli occupation radio announced that 6 settlers were injured by a missile fired from Gaza at the "Sderot" settlement while they were heading to the shelters.
