The Israeli occupation forces that had made advances toward al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City were forced to withdraw amid fierce confrontations as the Palestinian Resistance continued to put the Israeli occupation forces through the wringer in close-quarter combat.

Israeli military vehicles were mobilized in the al-Rimal area due to the fierce nature of the Resistance they were subjected to as the Palestinian fighters continued to push against "Israel" and counter its bids to invade the Gaza Strip, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported on Thursday.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), issued a brief statement announcing that all of its fighters were engaged in brutal confrontations in the vicinity of the al-Shifa Medical Complex, noting that they were inflicting mass casualties on the invading forces.

Al-Quds Brigades also claimed responsibility for the bombing of the Israeli Nir Oz settlement in the Gaza envelope.

The National Resistance Brigades, also known as Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces, the armed wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), said their freedom fighters confronted the invading Israeli forces southwest of Gaza using small arms and mortar shells.

The IOF announced the deaths of two of its soldiers yesterday, during the Gaza Strip battles as part of the ongoing ground invasion, bringing the total death toll to 369 since October 7.

The two dead are the Deputy Platoon Commander in the 9217th Battalion in the "Negev" Brigade, and the Deputy Platoon Commander in the “Shaked” Battalion in the “Givati” Brigade while the injured are one combat officer and one soldier from the two aforementioned battalions.

Resistance in Gaza targets IOF groupings, vehicles, and infantry

Resistance fighters from the al-Qassam Brigades, al-Quds Brigades, and al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades were able to target two Israeli tanks with Tandem and al-Yassin 105 anti-tank RPGs, southwest of Gaza City, on Wednesday.

According to reports, al-Qassam targeted an Israeli occupation military tank and bulldozer, west of Gaza City, with an al-Yassin 105 anti-tank RPG.

Moreover, the al-Qassam Brigades announced the targeting of a military excavator accompanied by an infantry force, east of Juhr al-Dik, using anti-tank charges and anti-personnel charges, adding that the Resistance fighters confirmed that members of the force were either killed or wounded.

Al-Qassam said that since Wednesday morning, Resistance fighters were able to completely or partially destroy 11 IOF vehicles in all areas of the incursion into the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam also announced the targeting of an Israeli tank, two bulldozers, and a troop carrier, in addition to targeting a gathering of occupation forces in several areas in Gaza.
