Israeli occupation police officer stabbed in al-Quds operation
Palestinian Resistance factions said the operation is a "natural response" to Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
An Israeli officer was stabbed in occupied al-Quds by a Palestinian on Sunday, according to Israeli media outlets.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent said Israeli occupation forces shot a Palestinian youth and initiated security measures in the Old City of al-Quds following the attack.
The Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas called the attack a natural response to the continued Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
Hamas urged Palestinians in the West Bank and al-Quds to engage in acts of Resistance against Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers.
On its part, the al-Mujahideen movement said the operation challenged all Israeli security measures in the city of al-Quds, which include extensive checkpoints, blocked entries, and large forces positioned across the city.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) said the operation conducted by a Palestinian youth from the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 is a "natural response" to Israeli crimes amid international and regional complacency.
It is worth noting that Israeli authorities have launched a "maximum pressure" campaign targeting Palestinians in occupied territories, the West Bank, and al-Quds, in parallel with its genocidal war in the Gaza Strip. Palestinians have resisted these campaigns with basic equipment and methods, attempting to snatch their freedom from a far superior occupier, despite the circumstances.
