The Israeli occupation supreme court has rejected an appeal made to release hunger-striking Palestinian Prisoner Kayed al-Fasfous, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported Monday as the prisoner's health is in freefall.

This appeal is al-Fasfous' fourth in a row during his hunger strike amid the indifference, criminality, and negligence of the Israeli occupation regarding al-Fasfous' life.

The Commission also warned the prisoner's life is deteriorating rapidly on his 124th hunger-striking day  in protest of his administrative detention, saying, "Al-Fasfous could be minutes away from sudden death."

Al-Fasfous is reportedly suffering from irregular heartbeat, chest pain, low blood pressure, and dehydration. He is also experiencing severe pains, which could subject him to a sudden health setback and result in kidney, heart, respiratory, or even nervous problems.

Palestinian Prisoners Club President Qadura Fares had told Al Mayadeen on Sunday the hospital Al-Fasfous is admitted to informed his family that his life is in grave danger, adding that no pressures have been exerted to free the prisoners.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh called on UN and human rights organizations to take urgent action to save the prisoner's life.

The prisoner had previously told Al Mayadeen he would continue his open hunger strike, saying, "Either I go home or be martyred," especially after the Israeli court decided to freeze his administrative detention, for he did not deem such suspension satisfactory, for his first and foremost goal is to achieve freedom.
