Israeli PM seeks UK support in Gaza genocide after talks with UK PM
Earlier today, Sunak arrived in occupied Palestine amid the ongoing escalations with the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli-led genocide in Gaza.
After talks with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that the regime is seeking the UK's support in its protracted war on Gaza.
"It is the world's darkest hour. We need to stand together ... and this is why ... I value your [the UK's] support ... this is a long war, and we will need your continuous support," Netanyahu told reporters.
Sunak later published on X the following: "Prime Minister Netanyahu, I stand with you in Israel’s darkest hour. I welcome your commitment to ensure routes into Gaza are opened for humanitarian aid. I support your work to secure the release of hostages, to strengthen your security, and to end the threat from Hamas."

Earlier today, Sunak arrived in occupied Palestine amid the ongoing escalations with the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza.
His office said that the purpose of his visit is "to convey his condolences" to "Israel" and Gaza.
Sunak's office stated that the Prime Minister is resolute in his commitment to preventing any further escalation of the war in the Middle East.
"Every civilian death is a tragedy. And too many lives have been lost following Hamas’ horrific act of terror," Sunak said in a statement ahead of his visit, making no mention of the thousands of lost Palestinian lives in Israeli massacres so far while pledging “unequivocal” support for the Israeli entity.
Sky News reported that the prime minister is scheduled to meet with the Israeli leadership and subsequently visit various regional capitals as part of efforts to mitigate the escalation of the conflict.
I’ve just met President @Isaac_Herzog and conveyed my gratitude for the support provided to British nationals caught up in the terror attacks.
