Israeli settlers scramble to shelters as Hezbollah retaliates
Approximately 180 projectiles and one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crossed into Palestinian airspace throughout the day, targeting various areas in northern occupied Palestine.
Settlers in northern occupied Palestine and the city of Haifa scrambled for shelters as sirens sounded Monday evening, signaling incoming projectiles.
"Sirens sounded in the city of Haifa and surrounding areas in northern Israel," Israeli occupation forces stated in confirmation.
According to Israeli forces, approximately 180 projectiles and one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crossed into Palestinian airspace throughout the day, targeting various northern regions.
Separate reports claim that a total of 300,000 settlers have fled to shelters.
For the first time since 2006, Hezbollah missiles targeted heart of Haifa in occupied Palestine.

The Israeli government is also imposing a special state of "civil defense" throughout the entity due to the long-range rocket shelling from Lebanon, Israeli state broadcaster Kan reported on Monday.
This comes after a similar order was issued for northern occupied Palestine as the Lebanese Resistance group's operations continue.
Meanwhile, residents of South Lebanon continue to evacuate the region due to the ruthless attacks.
An estimated 356 have been martyred so far, with many children and women among the casualties, and at last 1246 were wounded, due to the indiscriminate Israeli airstrikes on the country since early morning.
Despite all the Israeli claims of striking and eliminating Hezbollah targets, the Resistance group continues to launch heavy salvoes of rockets reaching down to southern Haifa and even the metropolitan area in the city.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon alleged that the US will support "defensive" but not "offensive" operations by the Israeli occupation, as huge waves of bombardment target different areas across Lebanon, committing multiple massacres in the process.
"We are there in the defense of Israel, should we need to come to their defense. We’re not going in and supporting offensive ground operations in what they do, whether it be in the north or in Gaza," a spokesperson said on Thursday when asked whether the US would back an Israeli offensive into Lebanon.
