Israeli settlers seize land in Sheikh Jarrah Neighborhood
Under the protection of Israeli occupation police, the settlers seized the home of the Salem family.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that Israeli settlers in Sheikh Jarrah Neighborhood in occupied Palestine seized the property of the Salem family and propped up a fence around it under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
A video on Twitter depicted the settlers breaking the belongings of the family and instigating confrontations.

Our correspondent said the settlers arrived under the leadership of Arieh King, one of the leaders of settlements and deputy mayor of occupied Al-Quds. A woman residing in occupied Al-Quds present at the scene accused King of beating her and breaking her arm.

The Israeli court had postponed looking into the order of evicting the Salem family from their home indefinitely, while the settlers claim ownership of the land.

Earlier, the Israeli occupation forces demolished the Salhiyya family's home in Sheikh Jarrah Wednesday, after the occupation's SWAT teams raided the home and forcefully evicted family members and those protesting alongside them.
Although civilian injuries were reported after the IOF assaulted the family, ambulances were prevented from entering the area to help the injured.
