Israeli war machine kills 77 Palestinians in Gaza in 24 hours

The Gaza Ministry of Health reports 77 martyrs and 222 injuries in 24 hours as Israeli forces intensify their attacks on the Strip.

77 Palestinians were killed and 222 others were injured in 24 hours as the Israeli occupation intensified its attacks across the besieged Strip, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported.

According to the Ministry's daily report, a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings and on roads where civil defense and ambulance crews are unable to reach them due to the ongoing bombardment.

The latest figures raise the overall death toll from the Israeli war on Gaza, since October 7, 2023, as of October 2, 2025, to 66,225 martyrs, in addition to 168,938 injuries. Since March 18, 2025, alone, 13,357 martyrs and 56,897 injuries have been recorded.

Bread massacres continue

Among the victims in the 24 hours were two Palestinians martyred and 44 injured while attempting to obtain humanitarian aid. The number of martyrs killed while seeking food has now climbed to 2,582, with more than 18,974 injured, according to the Ministry of Health.

New massacres across Gaza

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation committed multiple massacres targeting residential neighborhoods and displacement camps in different parts of the Strip.

In Gaza City, occupation forces detonated two armored vehicles packed with tons of explosives in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, destroying several homes.

The occupation forces are increasingly using booby-trapped robots in different areas of Gaza to cause massive destruction while shielding themselves, according to our correspondent.

Drone strike kills child in Gaza City

Elsewhere, an Israeli drone strike killed a child in the Ansar area, west of Gaza City.

In the eastern Gaza neighborhood of al-Shujaiya, the occupation launched heavy artillery bombardment that caused widespread destruction.

Israeli strikes target civilians in central, southern Gaza Strip

In Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, three Palestinians were martyred and 13 were injured in a drone attack on displacement tents west of the city.

Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital in al-Nuseirat announced that it had received nine martyrs and 13 wounded from continued Israeli bombardments targeting displacement camps and civilians along al-Rashid Street as they attempted to flee south.

Israeli artillery also struck east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

In Khan Younis, eight Palestinians were injured when Israeli fire targeted a tent sheltering displaced families inside Al-Aqsa University.

In Rafah, a young girl was critically injured after being shot in the head by Israeli forces in the al-Mawasi area, our correspondent added.
