Israelis killed nearly 300 women, children in Gaza overnight: Haartez
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz has published an investigation revealing that the Israeli army falsely claimed to target Palestinian resistance fighters while striking Palestinian women and children.

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz conducted an investigation revealing that the Israeli military carried out 80 airstrikes on 30 locations in the Gaza Strip last Tuesday while identifying only seven Hamas fighters and leaders by name.
The report highlighted that the Israeli forces killed around 300 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women, and claimed responsibility for targeting fighters from Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.
Meanwhile, UN Women cautioned earlier today of dire consequences for women and girls in Gaza following the collapse of the fragile ceasefire, highlighting "horrifying details" of human losses within just eight days of the Israeli occupation's renewed genocide.
Speaking from Geneva via video from Amman, UN Women’s Special Representative in Palestine Maryse Guimond reported that between March 18 and 25, 830 people were killed, including 174 women and 322 children, while 1,787 others were injured.
“This means that 21 women and more than 40 children are being killed daily,” Guimond stated. “This is not collateral damage. This is a war in which women and children bear the heaviest burden.”
She further noted that women and children accounted for nearly 60% of the recent casualties, describing it as "a horrifying testament to the indiscriminate nature of this violence."
Guimond relayed calls from UN Women’s partners and women in Gaza urging an end to the war, stressing that survival was their only concern.
In violation of a ceasefire agreement, "Israel" renewed early on Tuesday its war on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 504 people, including more than 190 children, according to the civil defense agency in the Palestinian enclave.
Humanitarians cautioned that "Israel's" move earlier this month to shut off assistance and power to Gaza in response to the impasse in negotiations to extend the truce had exacerbated the situation on the ground.
