The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation forces confirmed that two sergeants were killed during battles in the northern Gaza Strip while two others were injured.

The Israeli occupation has launched a wider-scale invasion of the Gaza Strip as confrontations concentrate across the northern and northeastern parts of the Strip.

Palestinian Resistance fighters utilized locally produced tandem rocket-propelled charges, anti-tank guided missiles, mortar shells, and improvised explosive devices to target and destroy  Israeli armored vehicles as well as infantry forces.

Al-Qassam Brigades had previously announced that its fighters used al-Yassin rocket-propelled grenades to target occupation armored vehicles, including Merkava tanks during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, dealing direct and lethal hits to tanks positioned outside the Gaza Strip.

The locally produced charges marked a significant development in the Resistance's ability to proliferate anti-tank weapons. The projectile can be produced at a cheaper price when compared to anti-tank guided missiles and has proven its effectiveness from close range, as it can be fired via a shoulder-held rocket launcher or released from a vertical position from a drone.

Al-Yassin launchers were heavily deployed during the Resistance's confrontation with invading forces on Tuesday. Fighters engaged occupation forces from close range dealing heavy casualties to the Israeli war machine.

  • Nearing Tuesday dawn the group destroyed an Israeli armored vehicle to the east of the "Erez" military site with an IED and two tandem charges.
  • At around 8:00 AM (local time) the Brigades clashed with occupation forces to the northwest of Gaza and destroyed two armored vehicles via tandem charges, confirming that the vehicles caught fire and at least one soldier was killed.

  • The Brigades also utilized an Explosively Formed Penetrator (EFP) mines to destroy an armored vehicle to the east of Hay al-Zeitoun.
  • In its final statement, the group announced that its fighters destroyed three armored vehicles in the east of Gaza City as well as a fourth vehicle that came to the rescue of the force.

Various Resistance factions have engaged occupation forces on multiple axes, including al-Quds Brigades and al-Mujahideen Brigades.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's, al-Quds Brigades, announced that its forces targeted an armored and an infantry force in Hay al-Zeitoun as well as armored vehicles in al-Atatra with mortar shells.

While al-Mujahideen Brigades revealed that its fighters were able to foil an Israeli amphibious force from completing a beach landing to the northwest of Gaza City, forcing it to withdraw.

The spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades said that the group had targeted and destroyed at least 22 Israeli armored vehicles since the Israeli invasion of Gaza was launched.
