The peace group shares a long list including the names of 2913 Palestinian children killed by the Israeli forces as of Thursday, October 26 by the Gaza Health Ministry, saying “This is what genocide looks like.”

The US-based Jewish Voice for Peace took to social media platform X to demand an end to the Israeli genocide in Gaza. In its thread on Saturday on X, the Jewish Voice for Peace pointed fingers at the US for the “horror” in Gaza.

“We demand a ceasefire now to save lives. To stop genocide,” it said, adding, “The Israeli military has already erased 47 Palestinian families from Gaza’s population registry; all members of the family, from all generations, are dead.... This is loss beyond measure.”

“The US is also responsible for the horror in Gaza. 80% of the bombs that the Israeli military drops on Gaza, that are used to kill these children, are American-made. We are called on to do everything we can to stop this genocide,” it continued.

This is what genocide looks like. These are the 2913 Palestinian children killed by the Israeli military this month, as of Thursday, October 26. As the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza intensify, we recognize with horror and grief that this death toll is already inaccurate.

“As we continue to demand a ceasefire in Gaza and fight for a future where everyone is free and equal and safe, we refuse to forget these children’s lives. We will always affirm that every life is precious,” the Jewish group added, regretting that every single one of the deaths was “preventable.”

'Fight like hell to live'

Just yesterday, 200 people were arrested at a mass demonstration organized by the peace group in New York City, as protesters who took over Grand Central Station in protest of "Israel's" indiscriminate bombing of Gaza.

Photos from the scene witnessed long lines of people in handcuffs wearing black shirts with the words "Not In Our Name" and "Cease Fire Now", as they also held up banners reading "Palestinians should be free" and "Mourn the dead, fight like hell for the living."

Organizers called the peaceful sit-in "the largest civil disobedience New York City has seen in 20 years."

This coincides with the unprecedented Israeli bombing of the Strip and deliberate strikes that cut off communication networks in Gaza, which have now been partially restored, while occupation forces attempted and failed to launch limited ground incursions into the Strip, failing repeatedly.
