Jordanians demonstrated near the Israeli Embassy to show support for Palestinians, according to a Sputnik correspondent.
Demonstrators chanted "No Zionism on the Jordanian soil!" and "The Jordanian people are against the normalization [of relations with Israel]!"
They also harshly denounced "Israel's" vicious assault on worshippers at Al-Aqsa mosque yesterday.
Israeli occupation forces violently stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque at dawn on Friday, emptying it of worshippers.
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, occupation forces fired stun grenades, teargas, and rubber-coated metal bullets at worshippers, injuring a number of them.
Our correspondent added that "occupation forces pursued the worshippers, assaulting them, and evacuated most of them from Al-Aqsa's courtyards, shutting all gateways there, except for Bab Huta."
The Red Crescent announced that 67 Palestinian injuries, so far, have been transferred from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
