Lebanese MP Faisal Karami said that the head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, is a "murderer."
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, the Lebanese MP indicated that "the head of the Lebanese Forces Party is a murderer," adding that Geagea "has not changed."
Karami's words came in response to last week's Tayouneh ambush events in the capital, Beirut, where the area witnessed heavy shooting at peaceful protesters, leaving 7 martyrs and dozens wounded.
A senior source in the Lebanese Army announced the arrest of several members of the Lebanese Forces Party, pointing out that some of them admitted to preparing for the Tayouneh ambush.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent to Beirut reported that a Lebanese Forces official supervised the ambush carried out against peaceful demonstrators.
In his latest speech on Monday, Hezbollah's Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah considered that Geagea is trying to generate an imaginary internal enemy in the hopes of keeping Christians worried about their local presence.
