Katz screeches: 'Israel has declared war on the West Bank'
Israel Katz says the Israeli occupation forces will remain in the Jenin refugee camp following the end of the offensive on Jenin.
"The Israeli army will remain in Jenin after the conclusion of the military operation," Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz said.
Speaking from the Jenin refugee camp, Katz said that "Israel" has declared war on the West Bank, noting that after the "military operations destroy military infrastructure built in the Palestinians' refugee camps, our forces will remain in the [Jenin] camp."
The Jenin refugee camp "will not go back to what it once was," he claimed.
The Israeli occupation pursues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp unabated for the ninth consecutive day, leaving 17 martyred, in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests, amid a widespread campaign of destruction of property and infrastructure.
This includes the burning, demolition, and bulldozing of citizens' homes and properties in the camp's neighborhoods.
In one instance, Israeli occupation forces demolished Hamza Mosque on Mahyoub Street in Jenin, while a drone bombed a site on the Cinema Roundabout.
Meanwhile, the IOF continue to send military reinforcements from the Jalameh military checkpoint to the city of Jenin and the surroundings of its camp amid the deployment of small-sized equipment and bulldozers yesterday, Tuesday, to facilitate their entry into the narrow alleys of the camp and to pave roads in the area.
