'Israel' carries out aggressions in occupied West Bank
The Israeli occupation forces are conducting raids and demolitions in the occupied West Bank amid paramount aggression in the territory.
The Israeli occupation forces carried out numerous acts of aggression across the occupied West Bank, involving home demolitions, arrests, and assaults on civilians, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported on Tuesday.
In Tulkarm, a special Israeli unit surrounded a house in the Irtah neighborhood, south of the city, amid heavy gunfire. Simultaneously, Israeli forces stormed Sair, northeast of al-Khalil in the Southern West Bank, and raided the Be’er al-Mahjar area in al-Khalil, seizing a vehicle.
In Jenin, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams treated two individuals who had been assaulted by Israeli forces at the Jalameh checkpoint. Later in the evening, Israeli warplanes targeted the Cinema Roundabout in Jenin, blocking ambulances from reaching the area.
The military also detonated homes in the Blawneh neighborhood within the Tulkarm refugee camp and continued targeting residential and commercial areas in the city for the second consecutive day. Civilians have been forced to evacuate their homes, while roads and farmland have been bulldozed.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces raided the home of freed prisoner Mohammed al-Mallah in the village of Ein Qinya, west of Ramallah, and launched a campaign of arrests.
These actions come a week after the Israeli military announced the launch of Operation Iron Wall in Jenin, escalating its aggression across the West Bank.
Mounting aggression
Over the past eight days, the Israeli aggression on Jenin and its camp in the West Bank has left 16 Palestinian martyrs, with dozens injured and detained, families displaced, and at least 100 homes burned and destroyed.
On Monday, the Israeli occupation forces informed the family of martyr Nidal al-Amer that their multilevel home would be demolished in the Jenin refugee camp.
Currently, the IOF are destroying the camp's streets, destroying its houses, and setting them on fire in an attempt to divide it into four sections.
The occupation forces had withdrawn from the western edges of the Jenin camp but redeployed shortly afterward, preventing residents from inspecting their homes and detaining a group of them. Moreover, Israeli gunfire targeted and injured a child near the Cinema Roundabout where intense confrontations were taking place.
Additionally, occupation forces confined a vehicle on Nablus Street, interrogated its passengers, and stationed Israeli troops along al-Nasira Street, the industrial area, the vicinity of al-Zayed Roundabout, Yahya Ashan Roundabout, and Nablus Street.
