Khamenei: Ukraine is a victim of crises orchestrated by US
Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei affirms that Iran opposes “the killing of people and the destruction of the infrastructure of nations.”
Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei said Iran has always opposed war and destruction anywhere in the world, urging an end to the conflict in Ukraine.
During a televised speech, Khamenei added that “the US disrupted the stability of the country by interfering in its affairs and organizing rallies and creating a colored revolution”.
The Iranian leader emphasized that Western powers cannot be trusted and that their support for their puppet regimes is phony.
Both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani have admitted that the US simply abandoned them in the midst of their domestic crises, Khamenei stressed.
“The US regime is a perfect example of modern ignorance. This regime is a crisis-creating and crisis-consuming regime, and it feeds of creating crises in the world,” he added.
“America is a regime in which immorality is promoted, discrimination is increasing exponentially, and national wealth is being exploited by the rich and wealthy,” he said.
Khamenei also denounced the West's double standards in dealing with the Ukraine crisis, stressing that Western countries support the killing of Yemenis while calling for an end to the Ukraine crisis.

Furthermore, he said that the US created ISIS terrorist group, slamming Washington for plundering oil resources in eastern Syria, stealing Afghanistan's assets, and supporting Israeli crimes against Palestinians.
It is noteworthy to say that last Thursday, Russia launched a special operation to demilitarize and "denazify" Ukraine, in response to requests from the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics for assistance in combating Ukrainian troops' aggression. The special operation is only targeting Ukrainian military facilities, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, and the civilian population is not at risk. Moscow has stated that it has no intention of occupying Ukraine.
