Khatibzadeh: Lebanon Will Overcome Strife
Iranian Foreign Minister spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh offers condolences to the victims of the Tayouneh ambush and affirms his country's confidence in Lebanon overcoming strife.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh expressed his country's "regret over the peaceful victims in Tayouneh (Beirut)," calling on the Lebanese government and authorities to find the perpetrators and detain them.
Khatibzadeh emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran stresses the importance of maintaining peace and stability in Lebanon.
The spokesman added that Iran believes that the Lebanese people, government, army, and resistance will successfully and proudly overcome strife and conspiracies that are designed and implemented by the Zionist entity and its agents.
This comes after 7 demonstrators were killed on Thursday while protesting the politicization of the Beirut port blast investigation.
