Kiev receives 18 German Leopard 2 tanks: Der Spiegel
German authorities did not disclose the delivery route for the transport of military weapons and equipment due to security concerns.
As per Berlin's promise to supply Kiev with military support, German news agency Spiegel reported on Monday that Ukraine received 18 German Leopard 2 tanks.
According to the news outlet, Ukraine has also received about 40 Marder armored infantry fighting vehicles.

On March 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that Kiev is currently unable to launch a counteroffensive, blaming the situation on a weapons shortage.
He said that the situation in the country's east is "unfavorable" and that Ukraine is currently waiting for its allies to supply it with weaponry.
This came shortly after Zelensky beseeched European leaders to deliver lethal weapons at a faster rate than they are being delivered, as he addressed a gathering of his EU allies via video link from a Ukrainian train.
He further warned that any delays in sending fighter jets and long-range missiles could prolong the war.
On March 21, the UK vowed to supply Kiev with to send 14 of its 227 Challenger 2 main battle tanks along with radioactive-depleted uranium ammunition.
The use of uranium shells has previously been used in Iraq, Libya, and Yugoslavia, where debris from the shells has caused spikes in cancer rates and birth defects among civilians.
