Kuwaiti engineer and inventor Jenan Al-Shehab officially withdraws her participation in the Dubai Expo 2020 after an advertisement entitled "Let's celebrate with Israel" was published on the exhibition's account.

Kuwaiti engineer and inventor Jenan Al-Shehab officially withdraws her participation in the Dubai Expo 2020 after an advertisement entitled "Let's celebrate with Israel" was published on the exhibition's account.

The Expo 2020 Dubai account had published a story on Instagram featuring the “Israel” pavilion in the exhibition with the phrase “Let’s celebrate with Israel”. Al-Shehab responded through her Instagram account also by saying: “And Unfollow and I announce my withdrawal from Expo."

Al-Shehab's withdrawal came a few days after the withdrawal of the Kuwaiti tennis player, Muhammad Al-Awadi, as the latter won Kuwaiti popular sympathy and a national solidarity campaign by hanging his pictures in the public streets of Kuwait.
