Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has presented a video message to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, urging an end to the killing of children in Donetsk.
The Minister handed over to the UN Secretary-General a booklet titled Ukrainian Crimes against Humanity (2022-2023) by Maxim Grigoryev, a member of the Russian Civic Chamber and Director of the Foundation for the Study of Democracy.
He also shared a video of a student in Lugansk, Valina Savinkova, in which she implored for an end to the killing of children in Donetsk at the hands of the Kiev government. The message also called for a halt to the shelling of peaceful homes and schools, with the aim of curbing the supply of Western chemical weapons to Ukraine.
The ministry further stated that the video was captured by Sputnik and was broadcast during a meeting between Lavrov and Guterres at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
