Lebanese Army reciprocated smoke bomb at IOF along withdrawal line

The Lebanese Army responded to the Israeli occupation forces after the latter threw smoke bombs while accompanying a bulldozer working to remove encroachments established by the occupation forces, north of the Blue Line in Bastara in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Army announced in a statement that an Israeli occupation forces patrol fired smoke bombs at a Lebanese Army patrol that was accompanying a bulldozer working to remove encroachments established by the Israeli occupation, north of the withdrawal line, also known as the Blue Line, in the Bastara area, southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Army statement indicated that "members of the Lebanese Army responded by firing smoke bombs at the occupation forces."

In turn, Al-Manar TV correspondent, Ali Shoeib, also reported that the Lebanese army cut off the military road paved by the occupation forces in an attack on Lebanese sovereignty over the Bastara Farm territories. The IOF threw smoke bombs at the Lebanese Army until the latter responded, in kind, by throwing bombs at the occupation forces.

In a similar incident, on September 23, the Lebanese army fired smoke grenades at Israeli occupation forces in the Shebaa Farms region after the latter fired smoke and stun grenades, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.
The IOF targeted a Lebanese army unit accompanying a Lebanese bulldozer removing debris ditched by Israeli bulldozers in the liberated lands of Bsattera Farm, located within the Shebaa Farms area.
The situation quickly escalated as Israeli Merkava tanks were mobilized in the Bsattera Farm area in response to the movement of the Lebanese bulldozer.
