Lebanese parliament speaker announces support for Hezbollah operations
The speaker of the Iranian Parliament briefed his Lebanese counterpart on steps taken by the Islamic Republic regarding the developments in occupied Palestine.

The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, affirmed in a letter responding to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf that he supports any action taken by Hezbollah if the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip continues.
Ghalibaf earlier sent a message to the Speaker to brief him on the diplomatic steps taken by Iran regarding the developments in occupied Palestine. The message was relayed to Berri through Ibrahim Azizi, the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament.

The top Lebanese official praised the Islamic Republic for adopting the "best stances" in the current situation regarding Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, noting that Tehran had always taken "the best positions regarding the Palestinian cause."
On his part, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani pointed out in a post on X that the Israeli occupation entity has escalated its crimes in Gaza and the killings of Palestinians, despite the worldwide protests and UNGA resolution.

He added that the Zionists' strikes on Gaza "amount to non-stop attacks on the conscience of the human community, moral and human principles, global peace and security, human rights and binding international laws and regulations."
"If it weren’t for the support offered by the US and some Western governments, would the Zionists dare commit so many crimes and genocide against Palestinians?"
