The Lebanese Army was on a high state of alert on Sunday at the border with occupied Palestine after an officer in the Lebanese army pushed an Israeli officer and uprooted an iron stake that the occupation was planting outside the Blue Line.
UNIFIL forces intervened to de-escalate the situation and separate the two sides.
Furthermore, earlier in the year, the Lebanese army prevented an Israeli bulldozer from operating outside the Blue Line at the borders of the settlement of "Metula" in southern Lebanon.
Moreover, the Lebanese army fired on January 13 at an Israeli UAV that violated the country's airspace from the South.

The Lebanese Internal Security Forces dismantled in early 2022, in the largest anti-spy operation in Lebanon over the past 13 years, 17 Israeli spy networks.
Acting Minister of Information Abbas Halabi said Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi disclosed during a cabinet meeting that 17 Israeli spy networks were uncovered in Lebanon following successive operations, noting that they played both a local and regional role.
The Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper reported that the Lebanese internal security forces - Information branch launched a campaign in early January 2022 and had captured 20 members as of the end of January
Investigations revealed that at least 12 of those detained were fully aware that they were working for "Israel," while others claim they believed they had been working for international organizations and NGOs.
The dismantling of these networks is one of the biggest security operations in Lebanon since 2009, the newspaper reported.
Three spies said their employers ordered them to obtain real estate information to identify the names of real estate owners in different areas. They were also asked to rent apartments in several areas and leave their keys in certain places.
Between 2009 and 2014, the Lebanese authorities arrested more than 100 people on charges of espionage for "Israel".
