Lebanon resilient despite Israeli attacks: Iranian envoy to Beirut
Iranian Ambassador to Beirut, Mojtaba Amani, visits the site of the martyrdom of the Master of the Ummah's Martyrs, former Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The Lebanese people will remain steadfast in their resistance, Iranian Ambassador to Beirut, Mojtaba Amani, stressed Tuesday, affirming that the brutal Israeli attacks will be of no benefit to the enemy.
Speaking from the site of the martyrdom of the Master of the Ummah's Martyrs, former Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in Beirut's Southern Suburb, Amani said, "From here, I bestow upon the Israeli occupation the highest ranks of terrorism, which will be forever stained with disgrace."
He underscored that Lebanon will remain resilient and strong and will reclaim its land, reiterating Iran's support for the country.
"I chose this location for my first appearance after recovery to draw strength and determination from the spirits of the martyrs," the Iranian diplomat indicated.
Amani returned Sunday to Lebanon to resume his duties at the Iranian Embassy following his recovery from injuries sustained in the pager attack carried out by the Israeli occupation across Lebanese territory on September 17.
Last week, Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, spoke via phone with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bouhabib on the present situation in Lebanon following the ceasefire with the Israeli occupation.
Araghchi attributed the ceasefire deal to the Lebanese people's unwavering resistance, as well as the political efforts of Speaker Nabih Berri and the administration of Lebanon, reiterating Iran's staunch support for the Lebanese government, country, army, and Resistance.
The Lebanese Foreign Minister touched on the latest situation in Lebanon following the ceasefire, expressing gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran's solidarity and unwavering support for Lebanon.
