Lebanon to hold parliamentary elections on May 15: Interior Minister
The interior minister's decree is awaiting approval from Prime Minister Najib Mikati and President Michel Aoun.
The interior minister Bassam Mawlawi said on Monday that Lebanon will hold its parliamentary elections on May 15.
“I signed a decree inviting the electoral bodies to vote for members of parliament on the following days: the Lebanese residing on Lebanese territory will vote on Sunday, May 15, 2022,” he wrote on Twitter.

- اقتراع اللبنانيين المقيمين على الأراضي اللبنانية، يوم الأحد الواقع فيه ١٥-٥-٢٠٢٢.
- اقتراع الموظفين الذين سيشاركون بالعملية الإنتخابية، يوم الخميس الواقع فيه ١٢-٥-٢٠٢٢.
According to the interior minister, Lebanese living abroad will vote on either Friday, May 6, or Sunday, May 8, depending on which day falls during a weekend in their country of residence.
People who work at polling places will vote on May 12.
