Liberals want Democrats to reject Trump's election victory: Poll
A Rasmussen poll reveals that a majority of liberals desire Democratic members of Congress to reject certifying election results in favor of Trump, while 35% of all voters support this stance, though the majority of voters oppose it.
Results from a survey conducted by a Rasmussen poll revealed that the majority of liberals expressed a desire for Democratic members of the US Congress to refuse to certify the election results if Trump wins.
The poll which surveyed 912 American voters found that 57% of Democrats voiced such a desire, while 35% of total voters support the refusal to certify results in favor of Trump.
However, the poll also indicates that a majority of voters, comprising 55%, oppose such a move, with 44% strongly opposing it.

This year's elections likely mark the most heated the country has ever witnessed, due to considerations from certain states, namely Texas, to split away from the federation.
While Republicans have pointed fingers at Biden for his handling of the migrant crisis, Biden has attempted to deflect this criticism by attributing the lack of progress to Congress's failure to support his proposed reforms.
Trump, on the other hand, maintains his staunch anti-immigration stance, which has long been a cornerstone of his political persona, and he has consistently pledged to tighten measures against border crossings from Mexico in his pursuit of a White House comeback.
Capitol insurrection 2.0?
Over 1,000 people were arrested on January 6, 2020, when rioters stormed the Capitol at the moment when Congress was about to certify Joe Biden's election as President.
The group comprises far-right radicals, conspiracy theorists, and ordinary Trump supporters. Some of the far-right radicals were charged with criminal conspiracy, including prominent members of the Proud Boys.
Results from a compilation of a dozen polls by RealClearPolitics in February revealed that the approval rating of former Trump skyrocketed to its highest level since 2022.
According to results, 42.1% of potential voters hold a favorable view of Trump, compared to only 35.9% measured in December 2022.
This marks Trump's highest rating since April 22, 2022. At the time, only 45.8% of potential voters viewed him favorably.
