Liberation of South Lebanon: Crowds lead the Second Sunday of Return
Lebanese crowds gather from all across the country to back the steadfast southern citizens as they demand the liberation of their occupied towns.
Civilians gathered from all around Lebanon at the entrances of border villages in the Lebanese South on Sunday morning, in support of those trying to liberate their hometowns where Israeli occupation forces had not withdrawn.
The public mobilization was called "The Sunday of Return 2", per the revolutionary movement of Lebanese crowds to the southern border, which took place last Sunday.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon reported crowds in the village of Deir Mimas, where civilians and residents set up tents in a show of popular resistance against the Israeli occupation.
Meanwhile, in Yaroun, Israeli occupation soldiers fired at civilians to curb and obstruct their return.
Citizens from Baalbek, eastern Lebanon, headed to the south to back their fellow countrymen as they defied the Israeli occupation's continued occupation of their towns. One resident said, "We came to stand by our people of the South."
"الإسرائيلي لا يخيفنا! نحن من نجعله خائفًا دائماً!"

This comes as the Israeli occupation forces continue to breach Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, particularly in the frontline villages along the border with occupied Palestine, despite the expiration of the 60-day withdrawal deadline outlined in the agreement.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Saturday that invading Israeli units are setting fire to homes on the outskirts of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as in Rub Thalathin near the occupied Palestinian border.
Our correspondent also stated that an Israeli Quadcopter dropped a bomb on a bulldozer working to retrieve the bodies of martyrs in Central Taybeh, in the Marjayoun district.
