Love for Palestine causes Jordan tribal judge to be banned from entry
Jordanian tribal judge is banned from entering Palestine after a video emerged of him calling on Arab nations to free the occupied lands from Israeli forces.
In an interview for Al Mayadeen Net on Thursday, Jordanian tribal judge Trad Al-Fayez discussed his entry ban to occupied Palestine, pointing out that he may be one in ten million Jordanians but he made "Israel" shiver and wondered "what if the other ten million stood up".
Al-Fayez considered his comment that was found to be a "dangerous announcement" and was claimed to "incite" against "Israel" during his visit to el-Naqab, as the reason behind the ban because it arose during his presence in the occupied lands.
He also affirmed that he did not allow Israeli officials to stamp his passport because he does "not see honor in having them stamp" it, adding that his last visit was to solve an issue between two families in Palestine and avoid the possibility of bloodshed.
The tribal judge declared that he will soon step into a free Palestine while calling on fellow Arab nations to contribute to that victory and expressing that "Palestine is the lungs of Jordan".
Israeli Security forces prohibited Al-Fayez from entering Palestine and even using the common borders with Jordan. That came after a tweet posted by the Israeli Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked, accusing Al-Fayez of violating the visa conditions by instigating "provocations" against "Israel".
In consequence, Israeli settlers launched a campaign against Al-Fayez, and a video of Al-Fayez speaking to residents in el-Naqab arose with him saying: "This is Palestine, the land of Arab ancestry and of Islam, you are Arabs.", adding that he entrusted the Jordanians with protecting Palestine "especially because the West Bank was occupied during Jordan's reign" and affirming that they stand with the free Palestinians and its youth.
It is noted that Al-Fayez is one of the main faces of the tribal justices in Jordan, and comes from Beni Sakhr, one of the largest tribes in Jordan.
