French President Emmanuel Macron warned on Wednesday that "Israel's" ongoing offensive to seize Gaza City "can only lead to a complete disaster for both peoples." His remarks come as "Israel's" war on Gaza intensifies, prompting widespread international concern.
In a statement posted on social media, Macron reiterated his call for an "international stabilisation mission" in Gaza, cautioning that "Israel's" actions risk dragging the entire region "into a permanent war," and emphasizing the urgent need for diplomatic intervention and multilateral cooperation to halt the violence.
Macron's statement was released through his official social media channels, where he emphasized the consequences of continued aggression and the lack of a political solution. His remarks align with growing criticism from several governments regarding "Israel's" crimes in Gaza.
"Israel" mobilizes 50,000 reservists to occupy Gaza City
Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz approved on Wednesday a new plan aimed at occupying Gaza City. The new operation, named Gideon’s Chariots B, is presented as a continuation of Operation Gideon’s Chariots.
According to occupation sources, the plan outlines renewed military actions targeting what remains of Gaza City’s infrastructure. The offensive is framed as the next step to expand IOF control beyond the areas already occupied.
To meet operational demands for this new operation, the IOF has issued approximately 50,000 call-up orders to reservists, in addition to those already serving. The move is part of broader preparations to ensure sufficient manpower for the planned escalation, as reported by The Jerusalem Post.
