BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

During a ceremony commemorating National Journalist Day in Venezuela, President Nicolás Maduro presented the prestigious Simón Bolívar Award to Iranian anchor Sahar Emami. Emami was recognized for her unwavering professionalism and courage, having continued her broadcast until the final moments of the Israeli regime's bombing of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building.

The award was presented posthumously to honor Emami and the martyrs of the brutal Israeli attack. The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Venezuela accepted the award on behalf of Emami and the families of those killed in the aggression.

"Israel" launched an attack on Iran's official broadcaster, the Voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRIB), in a glaring violation of international law.

Footage was released showing the moment strikes hit the building during the station's live broadcast, as well as the aftermath of the attack. Iranian media reported a number of martyrs and injuries in the strikes.

Notably, despite the attack and in a heroic act, the corporation resumed its live broadcast, with the host boldly challenging the Israeli occupation, saying, "target us again."

Venezuela, Palestine, Iran: A common  struggle

President Maduro addressed a gathering of journalists, expressing Venezuela's solidarity with the Iranian people and condemning the Israeli-US aggression. He praised the resilience of the Iranian leadership, government, armed forces, and media professionals.

"Every day, 100 people are killed in Palestine, while the West, with indifference and complicity, merely watches these events unfold," Maduro stated, calling on Jewish communities worldwide to oppose "Israel's" war policies in the region.

Maduro also proposed a World Summit for Peace, underscoring Venezuela's commitment to global stability and justice. "The statement by President Nicolás Maduro to convene a World Summit for Peace is a momentous decision," said journalist Helena Salcedo.

Salcedo emphasized that Venezuela's sovereign policies have helped the nation confront internal violence and should inspire similar efforts worldwide. The ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the shared struggles and mutual support between Venezuela and Iran in the face of external aggression.
