Maduro warns of plots to destabilize the country
During a meeting with senior officials, the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, highlights that there are notable positive trends in various sectors of the economy.
During a meeting held at the Miraflores Palace with the senior government and military officials to discuss the population's well-being, the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, praised the remarkable progress achieved by Venezuela this year in various fields.
Maduro highlighted notable positive trends in trade, agriculture, industry, and tourism, with a significant impact on the country's economy, especially in the last months of 2023, despite the sanctions imposed by Washington on Venezuela since 2014, which Maduro has repeatedly called for lifting.
He also highlighted progress in international geopolitics, citing major agreements with Colombia, Brazil, and the BRICS group, as well as Venezuela's progress in shaping the new global geopolitical order.

Maduro announced the launch of three new missions and plans to be added to social protection programs, focusing on "care for Venezuelan women, care for Venezuelan youth, and achieving equality and social happiness for the people," which he described as "the grand mission." Additionally, the Venezuelan President called on governors, mayors, and ministers to cooperate with organized popular forces to increase the ability to respond to the people's needs.
The President also warned against any attempt to destabilize the country by small right-wing groups that continue to rely on violence, emphasizing an absolute rejection of hate speech and the bias that some have sought to spread in recent months through violence incitement, riots, uprisings, and confrontations.

Furthermore, he called on all Venezuelans to "defend peace," explaining that there are conspiracies against the Venezuelan people's peace through attempts to incite violence.
Earlier, a poll conducted by Data Viva, a data and information analysis company, showed that the current Venezuelan President is "the preferred candidate among voters."
