"Mama Maryam" Martyred Inside Her Home During Tayouneh Ambush
Anxious 40-year old mother gazed from her window to check on her five children who were scheduled to arrive from school.
On Thursday, Maryam Farhat, a Lebanese woman was martyred in her own home after a shot to the head by snipers.
According to press reports, Maryam approached her window to check on her children who were scheduled to come home from school. When she opened the window, a bullet hit her in the head, robbing her of her life, and robbing her children of a future with their mother.
A group of peaceful demonstrators was targeted by snipers in an armed ambush in the Tayouneh area on Thursday.

According to a relative, Maryam's eldest daughter got married only two days ago, "where Maryam bid farewell to her daughter in her white gown, she now returns to her mother's funeral dressed in black."

Lebanon mourns its martyrs, on Friday, after the death toll from the Tayouneh ambush left 7 civilians martyred.
On Thursday, the country witnessed the heavy shootings in the Tayouneh area of Beirut, as snipers shot peaceful protesters who were demonstrating against the politicization of the Beirut blast investigation.
