Martyr Sayyed Nasrallah 'will remain eternal': Syria's al-Assad
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad extends his condolences to the Lebanese national resistance and Martyr Sayyed Nasrallah's family and affirms that his legacy will live on.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad offered his sincerest and most profound condolences to the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and the family of Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, upon his assassination by "Israel" in Beirut, Lebanon.
"My message is not to console you for the martyrdom of the leader of the Resistance, for you have shown over the past decades resilience, strength, determination, and unity that has made you stronger and more steadfast than any calamity, no matter how great," al-Assad said, affirming that the Resistance and those who rally behind it persevere and persist on the righteous path regardless of the cost.
The Syrian President affirmed that the Resistance will not turn frail with the martyrdom of Sayyed Nasrallah, but will only deepen its roots, adding that "Great leaders build, during their lives, the doctrine of struggle, its path, and its course, and they leave behind a legacy of thought and a practical approach to resistance and honor."
Speaking of Martyr Sayyed Nasrallah, al-Assad said that "Resistance is an idea and a doctrine, and the martyr Nasrallah is its memory and history", asserting that he will remain "a path that produces a reality centered on resistance, characterized by dignity, guided by honor, and aimed at liberation."
He lastly expressed full confidence in the Lebanese Resistance as it continues its path and struggle, and bid farewell to its martyred leader, stressing the unity Syria and the Islamic Resistance experienced in the joint struggle and war against "Israel".
"And at the heart of this loyalty, the name of the martyr [Sayyed] Hassan Nasrallah will remain eternal."
Hezbollah announces martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
Hezbollah, on Saturday, released a statement announcing the martyrdom of its Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, alongside his fellow martyrs who joined him following the Israeli aggression on the Southern Suburb of Beirut.
Hezbollah extended its condolences to the Islamic nation and the steadfast people of Lebanon, and all the free and oppressed people of the world, congratulating Sayyed Hassan on achieving the greatest of divine gifts, through which he was granted his greatest wish, that of a martyr on the path to Palestine and al-Quds.
"Israel" launched massive strikes on Friday, targeting residential neighborhoods in the Southern Suburb of Beirut.
Six buildings were razed to the ground as a result of the Israeli aggression, as Israeli media reported that 2,000 tons of explosives were dropped on the neighborhood of Haret Hreik in the assault.
The IOF announced that the goal of the attack was the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Israeli Army Radio pointed out that F-35 aircraft carried out the airstrikes using bunker-buster bombs.
