Martyrdom of Sayyed Nasrallah 'will bear great victory': Khazali
The leader of an Iraqi Resistance faction spoke to Al Mayadeen on the sidelines of memorial held for leader martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Tehran.
The Secretary-General of a Resistance movement in Iraq, Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Sheikh Qais Khazali, expressed his firm belief that the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General, the great leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, "will not be shed in vain and will bear great victory."
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, conducted on the sidelines of his participation in the memorial ceremony for the martyr Sayyed Nasrallah in Tehran on Friday, al-Khazali said, "We, along with all the Resistance fighters worldwide, especially in Iraq, stand united with our brothers in Lebanon until the great victory is achieved."
He also pointed to the regional developments following the martyrdom of the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps' (IRGC) Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani, saying that it "is already yielding results."
Underlining that one of these results has been the diminishment of American presence in Iraq and the entire region. He emphasized that "the price for the blood of martyr Sayyed Nasrallah will be the eradication of Israel."
It is worth noting that the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been increasingly targeting Israeli occupation forces in occupied Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan with cruise missiles and one-way attack drones, in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
On Friday evening, the Israeli military command admitted that two soldiers in the Golani Brigade were killed and 24 others injured after a drone struck their position in the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan.
