Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza confirmed that there were martyrs and wounded in the Israeli attacks on al-Shifa Hospital at dawn today, coinciding with raids launched by the occupation on the hospital courtyards.

According to our correspondent, most of the hospitals in northern and southern Gaza are out of service due to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Strip.

He added that the occupation committed a war crime at the hospital, having stormed it with hundreds of soldiers and surrounded it from all sides.

Our correspondent added that a large number of occupation forces entered al-Shifa wards, detained and handcuffed many doctors and refugees.

Director-General of Hospitals in Gaza, Mohammad Zaqout, said that Israeli occupation forces targeted al-Shifa Hospital with several airstrikes, stormed the emergency department, and assaulted patients. Zaqout added that the occupation stormed more than one hospital and did not find any members of Hamas or any other Palestinian resistance faction.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Israeli occupation military claimed that its forces were "carrying out a precise and targeted operation" in a "specified area" in al-Shifa Hospital.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent mentioned that Israeli occupation forces raided parts of the hospital and opened fire indiscriminately toward its windows and sections, adding that the occupation has cut off all communications to the hospital. Dozens of Israeli soldiers also stormed the emergency department at al-Shifa Complex.

Our correspondent reported that several people were killed and injured in the Israeli raid on al-Shifa Hospital this morning.

The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed that the Israeli occupation military informed the Ministry of Health in Gaza of its intention to raid the al-Shifa Medical Complex after besieging it for several days and continuously bombarding its buildings.

The Government Media Office held the Israeli occupation, the international community, and the United States responsible for the safety of thousands of medical personnel, wounded individuals, and displaced persons, warning of another Israeli massacre.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza, the occupation forces besieged all entrances to the hospital and deployed its tanks in its vicinity.
