Martyrs in Khan Younis massacre exceed 80 on 291st day of war
The Israeli occupation persists in its relentless bombardment of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip amid widespread civilian displacement.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has persisted for 291 days, with occupation forces relentlessly bombing numerous areas, particularly in the southern region of the Strip, resulting in a mounting toll of Palestinian civilian casualties.
An Al Mayadeen correspondent confirmed on Tuesday that the occupation forces targeted a truck carrying internally displaced people in Bani Suhaila, located in Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip, with an airstrike. The planes fired upon the town of al-Qarara, as well as the eastern and western fronts of the city.
Additionally, our correspondent reported that the Israeli bombing extended to include the areas of Sheikh Nasser, Khan Younis, al-Balad, and al-Qarara. This escalation coincided with increased confrontations between the Palestinian Resistance and the occupation forces in the region.

Our correspondent highlighted that the death toll in the Khan Younis massacre has exceeded 80, with over 70% of the victims being children and displaced individuals. The occupation forces escalated their bombing in the eastern regions on Monday, exacerbating the aggression. This onslaught coincided with the forced displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinians, creating dire humanitarian and medical conditions.
The correspondent reported that occupation artillery targeted the Saudi neighborhood and Tal al-Sultan, located west of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the central region, according to our correspondent's report, the occupation forces fired upon areas north and east of the al-Bureij camp. Civil defense sources also confirmed that Israeli shelling targeted a house in the al-Hadba area of Deir al-Balah, resulting in casualties including fatalities and injuries among Palestinians.
