Day 400 of genocide in Gaza: 43,552 martyrs, 102,765 wounded
On the 400th consecutive day of genocide in Gaza, the Israeli occupation has escalated its aggression in the southern and central Gaza Strip, while the Civil Defense reports that the occupation continues to target tents sheltering displaced people in the northern Gaza Strip.
For the 400th consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces persisted in their genocidal campaign in the Gaza Strip, conducting relentless airstrikes and artillery shelling while carrying out massacres against civilians. This ongoing violence exacerbates an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis driven by the siege and widespread displacement of the population.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the latest toll of martyrs has reached 43,552 and 102,765 wounded. The Ministry added that in only 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed four massacres, killing 44 and injuring 81.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported on Saturday that artillery shelling and gunfire from occupation tanks targeted the eastern cities of Rafah and Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Two Palestinians were killed, and others were injured in the bombing of a tent housing displaced people in al-Jazeera Stadium, south of al-Shafi’i Mosque in Khan Younis.
According to Palestinian media, a Palestinian was killed by an Israeli sniper in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the eastern part of Gaza City.
Residents of the northern Gaza Strip have nothing to eat
For the 36th consecutive day, the northern Gaza Strip, especially the Jabalia and Beit Lahia camps, continued to endure an Israeli siege and starvation, compounded by intense aerial and artillery bombardment. The northern governorate remains completely cut off from the rest of Gaza, further exacerbating the suffering of its population.
In the early hours of the morning, Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the Abu Jarad family's home in the al-Manshiyeh area of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. The airstrike resulted in the death of one martyr and left several others injured.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported, "Occupation forces' vehicles stationed east of Jabalia camp are opening fire on the homes of residents in Tal al-Zaatar and Jabalia camp, located in the northern Gaza Strip."
The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that Israeli occupation forces continue to target tents sheltering displaced people in the northern region, an area that "Israel" claims to be safe. The statement also underscored the worsening crisis, revealing that residents of the Northern Governorate are unable to access food due to the ongoing blockade, which is blocking the delivery of essential supplies and humanitarian aid.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported on Friday that 80,000 Palestinians remaining in northern Gaza are deprived of basic necessities and humanitarian aid.
Our correspondent pointed out that thousands of families have been displaced to the west of Gaza City and are sleeping on the streets because of a lack of tents available to protect them from heat and cold.
Intense shelling by Israeli naval vessels also targeted the beach of the al-Nuseirat refugee camp and the city of Rafah in the central and southern Gaza Strip.
