In the same context, Saada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad divulged to Al Mayadeen that "the people of Saada are commemorating the memory of liberation from colonialism," emphasizing the "failure of all plans of aggression."
In his speech on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the September 21 revolution, the leader of Yemen's “Ansar Allah” Movement Sayyed Abdel Malek al-Houthi confirmed the perseverance on the path of confronting aggression in a revolutionary spirit until gaining full independence.
Aside from the brutal aggression, Saudi Arabia has imposed an all-out blockade on Yemen since the beginning of 2015, depriving millions of civilians of essentials. This has brought the country to the verge of famine and has wreaked havoc on the healthcare system.
