The Government Media Office in Gaza reaffirmed that the Israeli Occupation Force's narrative of assassinating specific individuals in the latest Nuseirat massacre which targeted a UNRWA school housing displaced Palestinians was a falsehood filled with lies.

The Media office underscored that the names published by the Israeli Occupation Forces are false noting that the Israeli occupation spreads disinformation and promotes lies to mislead public opinion.

The Palestinian government office explained that the Israeli occupation published false information on Friday evening, which included a list of full names accompanied by personal photos, claiming that they were killed in the deliberate massacre. It turned out that among the names published by the Israeli occupation were Palestinian citizens who were still alive, others who were travelling, and several martyrs who had been killed at different times and places, not in Nuseirat.

The government office refuted the occupation's claims and lies in a press conference held late Friday night at the courtyard of al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza, confirming the inaccuracy of the list published by the occupation and the falsehood of the information intended to mislead public opinion.

Nuseirat massacre targeted children, women, displaced persons

In its precise refutation of the occupation's claims, the office clarified that the list published by the Israeli Occupation Forces includes the names of three citizens who are alive and were not martyred, among them a citizen who has been travelling for years and currently resides outside of Palestine.

Moreover, the list also includes names of citizens who were martyred in other places and at different times and were not killed in the Nuseirat massacre, in addition to an elderly man who died a natural death in 2017 and was not martyred in the Nuseirat massacre.

Contrary to the Israeli occupation's claim that it did not kill children in the Nuseirat massacre, the government office exposed this false claim by publishing the names of the children who were killed by the IOF's deliberate bombing of the school in Nuseirat.

The media office published a list of 14 children's names, 12 of whom were aged between 8 and 16 years, in addition to two unidentified children whose bodies were completely shreded due to the intensity of the bombing.

The list of child martyrs also includes civilians and women killed by the Israeli occupation in the massacre.

During the press conference, the media office emphasized that in light of these Israeli lies and the massacres witnessed by the entire world, it is clear that the IOF deliberately targets and kills as many civilians and displaced persons as possible, especially children and women.

It also pointed out that the occupation intentionally targets UNRWA schools, shelters, and displacement centres that house tens of thousands who were forcefully displaced as a result of the Israeli occupation's bombings.

These deliberate attacks, the office said, were part of a framework of genocide and pressure on the people of Gaza to exacerbate their humanitarian situation unprecedentedly in the world.

The office condemned the Israeli occupation's narrative, describing it as "false," and clarified that the false narratives and lies promoted by the Israeli occupation after each massacre are intended to justify its heinous and brutal crimes against civilians, children, and women, which the world has failed to stop for more than eight continuous months despite the televised killing, destruction, genocide, and ethnic cleansing.

Responsibility falls on US shoulders

The government office also condemned the complete and comprehensive US support provided to the occupation entity, reminding that the entity practices its crimes in an organized manner.

It held the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for these crimes against humanity and international law, calling on the world to condemn these massacres and the genocide and ethnic cleansing war against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

At the end of the press conference held by the government office in central Gaza, which was under intense Israeli artillery shelling and bombardment, it called on the international community and all international organizations to pressure the occupation to stop the genocide against civilians, children, and women in Gaza.

The office also called on the international community and international courts to pursue Israeli and US war criminals, asserting that these criminals "oversee the implementation of genocide in a deliberate and premeditated manner."
