We are working hard to remove all obstacles, and forming a government that takes into consideration all balances will take some time," said Mikati.
Mikati also pointed out that "The dialogue with President Aoun is positive," hoping "that the government will see light soon."
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, informed political sources said on Monday that "Aoun and Mikati are close to signing the decree to form the upcoming Lebanese government."
The sources confirmed that "If nothing major or extraordinary happens, the new government will be born within days unless the papers were re-shuffled and the situation became complicated in the meetings between Aoun and Mikati in the upcoming days."
In addition, the sources estimated that "The catastrophe that occurred in Akkar, northern Lebanon, may have accelerated the pace of the composition, especially after the instability that happened and the warnings received by senior officials about total chaos, which no-one can prevent."
