Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visited "Israel" on a tour of areas that had been at the center of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, in a show of "unwavering support" for the occupation and its brutal aggression.

The visit was encouraged by Israeli businessman Yossi Sagol, who said the extension of a visit by the Pompeos symbolizes their determination and special regard for the occupation.

"We sincerely appreciate the unwavering support of Secretary Pompeo and Susan during these challenging times.”

A bizarre expression of grief

Pompeo and his wife made several stops around the occupied territories and met with Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers to pay their tributes.

During the visit, Pompeo expressed the "heartbreaking" front he witnessed on his tour, saying, “What happened on October 7 was so shocking and so sadistic that the trauma is felt constantly, everywhere by everyone. And yet, their resilience is truly inspiring. Every Israeli continues to sacrifice and give so much to help their countrymen and defend their nation."

Pompeo addressed the captives issue, stressing they need to be returned from Gaza.

"Israel" had earlier rejected Hamas' proposal for an agreement that ensured the safe exchange of prisoners and captives, abandoning Israeli captives and putting them at maximum risk of death due to the occupation's intense bombing in Gaza.

He also reiterated his indefinite support for "Israel", despite the massacres it has been committing across Gaza and the crimes it perpetrated in the West Bank.

Pompeo and several IOF soldiers partook in a celebratory dance, while the occupation carried out more raids on Gaza.

Member of Knesset and the occupation's former UN Ambassador, Danny Danon, endorsed Pompeo's visit, coining it a stance of "moral clarity against the evil forces", reiterating "Israel's" unattainable goal of defeating Hamas.

Meanwhile in Gaza

It is worth noting that while Pompeo extended support to "Israel" and remained silent on the ethnic cleansing of civilians, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that Israeli occupation forces committed several massacres on day 130, killing 133 Palestinians and injuring 162, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli aggression on Gaza up to 28,473, in addition to 68,146 injuries.

It further stressed that many victims remained under the rubble as the IOF prevented ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported that five people were killed and several others were injured when a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central part of the Strip was bombed by Israeli forces.

Many Palestinians were injured by airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes in the al-Maghazi camp located in the central part of the Gaza Strip. As the Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, the humanitarian situation is simultaneously getting worse.
