Militants kill two officers at Quneitra police station: Syria
The two martyrs serve at Quneitra Police Command, as per the Syrian Ministry of Interior.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that two members of the police station in the town of Nabaa Al-Sakhr were martyred by militants opening gunfire in the central sector of Quneitra.
According to a statement released by the Syrian Ministry of Interior, unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire directly on the town of Nabaa Al-Sakhr, killing Lieutenant Muhammad Sami Ubaidan and Lieutenant Rabih Ali Wassouf.
The statement added that the two martyrs serve at Quneitra Police Command.
The Ministry further revealed that the internal security forces are searching for the perpetrators who fled the scene.
It is worth noting that Quneitra was declared a city with no presence whatsoever of terrorist elements.
