More world leaders congratulate Putin on his win as the West outcries
Several world officials and leaders congratulated Putin on his win in the Russian presidential elections including Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad congratulated Vladimir Putin on his reelection today, Al-Assad’s office revealed.
The office quoted President Al-Assad's congratulatory letter to Putin "I congratulate you on your reelection by a majority of votes as the president of the Russian Federation."
Iran, Alegeria, Bahrian, Qatar , Saudi Arabia
State news agency IRNA reported that Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi hailed Putin's "decisive victory".
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune today congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his win in the Presidential election, his office revealed.
"Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune congratulates his colleague Mr. Vladimir Putin on the occasion of his re-election as the president of the Russian Federation," the office stated.
From their end, Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Qatar's Emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, each hoped for "development and prosperity" for Putin, in their separate statements posted online.
In addition, Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman similarly congratulated Putin wishing him "success and prosperity" as revealed by the country's state media.

Pakistan, China and India
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated today that he congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his election win.
"I congratulate H.E. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation on his re-election and look forward to working with him to further strengthen [Pakistani-Russian] relations," Sharif posted on X.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent his "warm congratulations" to Putin emphasizing that he looks forward to strengthening their "special relationship."
Beijing congratulated Putin, saying that the countries were "strategic cooperative partners in the new era," adding that the result "fully reflects the support of the Russian people", according to Chinese state media.
Chad and Niger
Chad's President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno posted on Facebook that the election's result was "proof of the Russian people's trust" in Putin.
Niger's General Abdourahmane Tchiani also congratulated Putin on his "resounding victory" as he said that Niger can depend on Putin's "personal commitment" to support it in "regaining its sovereignty."
On the other hand
US State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said today that US officials will not make any calls to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his win.
“I think it is safe to say that there certainly won’t be any congratulatory calls coming from the United States of America,” Patel announced during a press briefing.
Patel threw sarcastic remarks targeting the Russian presidential election results saying it was not unexpected and that he was on the “edge of his seat” during the election.
The EU
European Union countries, in a joint statement, said that Russians had been prevented from a "real choice" claiming that all candidates opposed to the war in Ukraine were outcasted from the elections.
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borell also claimed that the vote was "based on repression and intimidation."
Germany, France, Italy, Czech, and Norway all reiterated this narrative in an attempt to doubt the integrity of Russian elections.
Putin decries lack of democracy in the West after election victory
President Vladimir Putin emerged victorious in Russia's presidential election in a landslide victory that saw him securing the overwhelming majority of the vote following the three-day-long election.
Addressing supporters at his election headquarters late March 17, Putin expressed gratitude to the Russian people for their participation, emphasizing that the election outcome would foster unity and strength within Russian society.
In his address, Putin underscored the significance of this electoral triumph in solidifying Russia's societal fabric and bolstering its resilience.
Moreover, Putin outlined his administration's key priorities moving forward, notably emphasizing the imperative of addressing the Ukraine war. He stressed the necessity of fortifying the Russian armed forces, asserting that enhancing military strength was still a top priority for Moscow.
