Most violent since October 7: IOF unleash belts of fire on Beit Hanoun
Instead of the pace of war calming down as talks for a ceasefire continue, Israeli occupation forces are only intensifying their assaults.

Israeli occupation forces announced the start of an operation in Beit Hanoun and launched dozens of airstrikes described as the most violent and intense since October 7, 2023, following the killing of five of its soldiers in a Resistance operation in the area days earlier.
Al Mayadeen's reporter stated on Saturday evening that Israeli warplanes launched the most intense wave of airstrikes since the beginning of the war, targeting Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.

Our correspondent reported that the occupation forces carried out over 40 airstrikes in the form of fire belts targeting Beit Hanoun, describing the raids as the most violent and intense since October 7, 2023. Al Mayadeen's correspondent noted that these simultaneous airstrikes followed the occupation forces' announcement last week of imposing a siege on Beit Hanoun.
This comes after the Israeli occupation announced the start of a "large-scale operation" in Beit Hanoun following the killing of five Israeli soldiers and the wounding of 14 others in an operation carried out by the Palestinian Resistance on July 8, 2025.
Extremely dangerous 'security incident'
According to Israeli media reports, the Resistance's ambush began with an explosive device detonating near an armored vehicle carrying soldiers. This was followed by the targeting of a D9 bulldozer and a tank, then the detonation of an Israeli robot carrying a large quantity of explosives, along with an attack on an Israeli medical evacuation team.
Reports added that warplanes conducted intensive flights to cover the evacuation of dead and wounded soldiers from the targeted area, while five hospitals were designated to receive casualties.
Israeli media outlets described the "security incident" in northern Gaza as "extremely dangerous" and one of the most complex events since October 7, 2023.
Israeli news sites revealed that "one of those wounded in the security incident was a senior officer," noting that "the ambush targeted the Nahal Brigade," which had recently assumed military responsibility for the northern Gaza Strip area.
IOF hit with ambush after ambush
Israeli media also reported fatalities and missing personnel among occupation forces, adding that several soldiers suffered severe burns, reviving memories of the armored personnel carrier incident in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, where seven Israeli soldiers were killed.
On its part, the Israeli Army Radio pointed out that the Israeli force caught in the Beit Hanoun ambush belonged to the Netzah Yehuda Battalion, which is the first battalion to include Haredi soldiers.
The radio station emphasized that the ambush occurred in an area the Israeli army had occupied multiple times and that had witnessed intensive airstrikes in the weeks leading up to the attack.
Following the attack, Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the Qassam Brigades, described the complex Beit Hanoun operation as "another precise strike by our mujahideen against the prestige of the occupation army and its units."
